Intention: Trust
Etymology: reliance on veracity, integrity or other virtues of someone/thing Old Norse: Traust “ help, confidence, protection, support.” Veracity – n – conformity to facts; accuracy What is TRUST? Have you considered deeply what trust really is ? Is TRUST the predictability of a persons behaviour toward us that gives us a sense of security and therefore the certainty that this behaviour would be repeated in the future? Or is trust about our emotional courageousness to expose our vulnerabilities to those we love with the expectation that they will not take advantage of our expression? The answer is yes to both. As part of the human experience, this is an essential psychological and emotional requirement in order to feel healthy. Now here comes the “but”.
